We are happy to announce the launch of our website and to welcome UF's Class of 2014 to the Gator Nation!! We hope that you will join other UF students, educators and Gainesville families that are out to make an IMPACT.
This past year has been full of so many memories that if you asked us to choose just one moment that stands out to us, we wouldn't be able to do it. From participating in the S.T.A.R 5K for Autism, to Stomp the Swamp, to our Parent's Nights Out and our general meetings where we learned more about autism from the people who know it best such as Dr. Greg Valcante, Director of UF's Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, we have had an action packed year, and we aren't done yet!
As many of you may know, autism is the fastest growing developmental disability in the U.S. and every 20 minutes another family receives the diagnosis. The reason IMPACT Autism was founded was because we wanted to allow others to be inspired by individuals with autism in the same way we have been. Please check out our website for updates and for information about our first meeting of the year. You can also find us on Facebook under "IMPACT autism @ UF"
Hope to see you there!!
